Conferences related to the client's issue are organized, and the press is invited to attend. Conferences, with high level government, business, and academic participation, not only create a newsworthy event to be reported upon, but also allow journalists to become aware of and knowledgeable about the client's issue. Conference proceedings are released to journalists to provide them with background information which will influence their present and future reporting on the topic. |
